Workshop - Preparation for the postpartum period
As soon as you have given birth, i.e. the baby and placenta have been born, the 6-8 week postpartum period begins for you.
The postpartum period is also the time of bonding. Of growing together with your child. How this first time together goes has an impact on the entire life of the child, but also on the life of the mother and the young family.
For this reason, it is important to deal with it. It affects your breastfeeding relationship, your bond with your baby and your relationship with yourself. It also influences your future physical well-being.
In my workshop, I will explain the different phases of the postpartum period and the associated changes - both for you as a mum and for your baby and your partner. I will explain what to expect during this special time after the birth, from the placenta birth to the weeks after returning home.
I'll give you practical tips to help you be well prepared for your postpartum period. From supplies to setting up a support network, make sure you have everything you need to take good care of yourself and your newborn.
Ultimately, my aim is for you to enjoy your postpartum period - a time that can often feel overwhelming, but can also be full of love and joy.
